Lass O’Gowrie design work

Hello all, sorry things have been a bit quiet hereabouts. I’m hoping to get my act together and post some more nonsense soon, but in the meantime I thought I’d show you a job I’ve just completed. Gareth at The Lass O’Gowrie, a terrific pub in Manchester, required a new logo…
… some postcards to promote the Lass’s food, booze, events and function rooms…

Lass O'Gowrie flyers
… plus a mocked-up retro computer game cassette inlay…

Spectrum inlay
Paul Redfearn’s the clever sausage behind the Ena Sharples artwork used in the logo.

Mario’s body with Ena’s head looks disturbingly… right.

There’s a pub in Exeter called Sawyers. Sadly their recent refurb didn’t involve putting that bloke from Lost on the pub sign.

I think people might be a bit scared to enter, especially if the staff really do look like that. You know Ena could be Davros’ mum….

I had 3D Monster Maze on the ZX81 – the first time you encountered the huge Tyrannosaurus it was quite a shock.

But nothing like as scary as it would have been had it featured a giant Ena!!!

Perhaps the DVD of “Invasion Of The Dinosaurs” could feature optional giant Ena CGI recreations?

    (sorry, hit enter too soon!)…

I meant to say, doesn`t Pertwee defend himself from the Pterodactyl with a mop at one point? That would be little use against Ena in one of her moods…

That is super, super-cool. Love the deployment of Monkhouse on the quiz sheet.
